Partition Settings


Purpose:

A partition is a group of zone(s) that may be controlled independently (armed and disarmed) from any other groups. If the security control panel have two partitions, you basically have two separate systems. In the Partition Settings module, you can set the alarm duration, enable auto arm, enable auto disarm, and set the entry delay and exit delay, etc.

Steps:

  1. On the Hik-Connect page, tap the arming status icon to enter the control panel page
  2. Note: If the Hik-Connect page is in list mode, the arming status icon is displayed as or . If in thumbnail mode, the arming status icon is displayed as or .

  3. Tap More to enter the Settings page.
  4. Perform the following operations.
    • Tap Alarm Duration, and then select a duration or tap Custom to set an custom duration.
    • Set in Auto Arm section to to enable the function, and then tap Auto Arm Time to set the time to automatically arm the system (partition).
    • Set in Auto Disarm section to to enable the function, and then tap Auto Disarm Time to set the time to automatically disarm the system (partition).
    • Set in Late to Disarm section to to enable the function, and then tap Late to Disarm Time to set the time to push notifications to the phone if the system (partition) is not disarmed.
    • Note: You should have enabled system status notification on the Web Client of the wireless security control panel, or the notification will not be pushed to the phone. For details about the Web Client, see the Wireless Security Control Panel User Manual for details.

    • Set in Weekend Exception section to to enable the function. When enabled, Auto Arm, Auto Disarm, and Late to Disarm are disabled on Saturday and Sunday.
    • Tap Entry Delay 1 and Entry Delay 2 to set value for the two parameters.
    • If entry delay is configured for the delayed zone, when you enter an armed delayed zone, the zone alarm will not be triggered until the end of entry delay.

      Note: After set value for Entry Delay 1 and Entry Delay 2, you should set the entry delay of a specific zone to Entry Delay 1 or Entry Delay 2. See Detector (Zone) Settings for details.

    • Tap Exit Delay to set the exit delay for the delayed zones.
    • If exit delay is configured for the delayed zone, after you arm the zone on the indoor unit, you can exit the zone without triggering alarm until the end of exit delay.

    • Tap Siren Delay Time (Perimeter Alarm) to set the siren delay time of the perimeter alarm.
